More Homebroideries....

After an inexcusable delay it's time to post some of my latest work for you to see.

I framed this one for the client as it was a surpixe for her husband and she wanted it ready to go. I usually supply my commissions unframed as they are easier to post but can frame if necessary.

You may not know but I can also include a pet in your portrait, so far I have done dogs, cats and chickens!! I do charge a little extra per animal (£7.50) because due to their tiny size they are rather fiddly and time consuming!!
I can also include any fabric that is special to you - for this client I used some of her wedding dress in a portrait of her wedding venue.
If you have any questions or would like to order, please do not hesitate to contact me spending-all-his-money@ntlworld.com

My Latest Commissions....

Ive recently finished a few portraits and they are now safely at home with their new owners and so I can share them with you.

Orchard Cottage was one of my favourites. I individually cut out and machine embroidered the leaves for the apple tree before added little red beads for the apples.

And there were chickens!! Which I really enjoyed doing....

I worked this house in some vintage wool I found in our local charity craft shop - I really love the texture and it's lovely to sew....
This commission was for a very long, pretty house (it's only one room wide). In order to make sure the "canvas size" wasn't enormous the scale had to be reduced which meant the windows were actually a fair bit smaller than usual. I included some hollihocks which are one of my favourite flowers to embroider.
This house has a little shop front, it has vintage lights above and I used beads for them....

An Old Police House....

And a pretty little terrace....
